Rieko Koresawa Gauthier 　ゴルティエ 是澤 理恵子

群馬県出身。日本大学芸術学部美術学科卒業。アメリカ、ロサンジェルスへ留学し、アートセンターカレッジオブデザインにて絵画を学ぶ。

日本に帰国後、オーストラリア、アデレード絵はがきコンテストにて、ＭＬA賞を受賞。

板橋区立美術館のワークショップで、メディアバッハの編集長ヴィセンテ・フェレルに絵本を学び、生徒２１人と共に｢21人の赤ずきん｣絵本をスペインで出版。スペイン最優秀書籍賞コンクール２等賞を受賞。のちメキシコでも出版。

２０１３年よりカナダ、ケベックへ移住し本格的に、絵画制作を再開。

２０１６年、ケベックシティで、4人の日本人アーティストによる、 初の海外グループ展「Reve・夢」をサロン・ジマーマンで開催。

２０１９年、大正時代の女流詩人、金子みすゞの詩をヴァレリー・アルヴェが翻訳し、挿絵を担当した「みんなちがってみんないい」をQuebec-Ameriqueより出版。

同年、３月４日から４月６日までジャンーゴスリン図書館 にて原画展、３月２０日講演会を開催予定。日加修好９０周年記念事業に認定された。

 

Rieko Koresawa was born in Gumma, Japan. She studied oil painting at Nihon University of Arts department. After graduated the university, She went for studying abroad to Los Angeles in the U.S.A.

She transferred to the Art center college of design and learned Fine art.

After returned to Japan, she won an MLA prize of postcard competition for Adelaide, Australia.

She learned about picture-books from Vicente Ferre who is a chief editor of Media Vaca at a workshop of Itabashi city museum of Art and published a picture-book titled "Erase Veintiuna Veces Caperucita Roja" (21 of Little red riding hood) with other 20 students in Spain. Then That book received the second highest award of the book 's prize competition in Spain.

She relocated her art base to Quebec, Canada in 2013. And then she started over to create full-scale tableaus.

She mounted the first overseas group-exhibition titled " Reve・Dream" with 3 Japanese artists at the salon Zimmermann in  Quebec city in 2016.

She drew for the illustrations of  Misuzu Kaneko's poem of picture book in a French translated by Valerie Harvey "Nous sommes tous different et nous sommes tous beaux"  and It is published by Quebec-Amerique in 2019. In the same year, a solo exhibition and a lecture meeting will be held at Bibliotheque Jean-Gosselin in March. This event is approved by 90th Anniversary of Japan-Canada Diplomatic Relations of the cultural program.
